Stolen Moments

If only I was wiser enough, I shouldn't be with you right now
But I let stupidity creep and engulf my soul
Just to spend some stolen moments with you
Without asking for anything in return
I have you for a glimpse of time because you are not mine
I am yours but someone owns you
Sometimes I don't know which way to go
Either to leave it all behind without you in my life
And choose the easier way out yet it will break me for not having you
Or the complicated way that makes me happy for a moment
Yet it kills me slowly thinking thant you are not mine fully
But in the end I always choose to be with you
Because love prevails over consequence
