I am now in the third year of Nursing course and it was only in this time that I can feel the pressure pulling me down, deeper than the existing trench in the world. It is not easy to take care of different types of people with varieties of diseases and disorders. There are times that you have to carry your patient to position him properly in the bed, especially to those who are not ambulatory. Most of the time, you will really see how the patients suffer from their condition and to the extend that your only shield is to have a strong attitude towards dealing with the patient. You will really experience the best and the worst in the life of being a nurse. Reality check: Clinical settings here in the Philippines are getting worst including the staff of the institution where in the patients are taken for granted. Instead of having some rounds to check if the patients are doing alright, they were just sitting there at the staion and do nothing but talk. I am not trying to pull down the medical facade here in our country but I just wan the people to know the reality tht we are suffering and in the coming times, if appropriate actions will not be done, we will suffer more in the coming times. more Filipinos will get sick and suffer
